House rules and guest information

Dear Guests, we are glad you have chosen Panorama House Fülöp-hegy for your stay. We set up the house to be a comfortable, peaceful place to relax, share meals and explore the Balaton Uplands. Please read the information below and help us keep the house this way for the guests who come after you.

  1. 01

    Arrival and departure

On the day of arrival the house is available from 2:00 pm, and on the day of departure we ask you to leave by 10:00 am. Early arrival or late departure can be arranged in advance for an extra fee, depending on our bookings. The house may only be used by the guests named in the booking. If you would like to have visitors, please check with us beforehand.

  2. 02

    Access and opening the gate

From the outside, the gate opens and closes with a keypad lock. From the garden side you can use the switch on the gate post, and during your stay also the remote control on the living room table. The front door only works with the keypad lock. Your code is valid from 2:00 pm on the day of arrival until 10:00 am on the day of departure. When leaving, open the gate with the push button on its left side, and lock it from the outside with the keypad. Please keep the gate closed at all times, and leave the remote control on the living room table when you leave. If the remote control is lost, the cost of replacing and reprogramming it is HUF 9,000.

  3. 03

    Guest registration and identification

Under Hungarian law, accommodation providers must record the required details of every guest in the accommodation management system. Guests over 14 must present a valid identity document, and if the required details cannot be recorded or checked, accommodation cannot be provided. Please complete the registration before arrival if possible, and at the latest before moving in.

  4. 04

    Using the house

Please take care of the house, its furnishings, furniture and equipment, and use everything as intended. Please do not move furniture to another room. Be careful with the floors, especially the wooden parquet, and wipe up any spills straight away. Only use electrical appliances in the house for their intended purpose. If something does not work, or you are unsure how to use it, ask us before trying to take it apart or repair it.

  5. 05

    Smoking

Smoking is not allowed anywhere inside the house, only outdoors. Please put cigarette ends in the container provided, and never in the garden or the surrounding plants. Do not put embers, hot ash or lit cigarette ends in the bin.

  6. 06

    Fireplace and fire safety

Please use the fireplace carefully and only as intended. Never leave a fire or embers unattended. Do not place anything flammable near the fireplace. Before you leave, check the ash as well, because embers can keep glowing underneath for hours. Please do not take the ash out or put it in the bin. Leave it in the fireplace and we will deal with it. The outdoor fire pit and the bacon roasting spot cannot be used at the moment.

  7. 07

    Air conditioning, hob and oven

Please use the air conditioning as instructed, with windows and doors closed, and switch it off when you leave the house. Do not leave the hob or oven unattended while in use, and check that they are switched off after cooking. After using the kitchen appliances, please leave the worktop and cooking area clean.

  8. 08

    Dishwasher and kitchen

Only use dishwasher detergent in the dishwasher. Do not put washing-up liquid in it, as it causes excess foam and damage. Please leave the kitchen and utensils clean after use. Do not pour leftover food down the drain or let fat go into the sink.

  9. 09

    Water and bathrooms

Please use water sparingly, and turn off taps and showers after use. Only toilet paper may go in the toilet. No wet wipes, hygiene products, food scraps or other waste.

  10. 10

    Towels, rubbish and recycling

If you would like a towel replaced, please leave it on the bathroom floor. Please leave the other towels where they are. Put rubbish in the bins provided in the house, and make sure none is left in the garden or on the terrace. If the bins are full, or you are unsure what goes where, please contact us. For stays longer than seven days we provide cleaning and a change of bed linen and towels. Please let us know which day suits you best.

  11. 11

    Quiet and the neighbourhood

Please respect the neighbours' peace, especially in the evening and at night. Loud events, parties, and stag or hen parties are not allowed in the house or the garden. Please avoid excessive noise, loud music and anything else that could disturb people living nearby.

  12. 12

    Pets

We can only welcome pets by prior arrangement, for a fee of HUF 8,000 per stay. This is not a charge for the animal but for the extra cleaning. Please make sure your pet does not damage the furnishings or disturb the neighbours, and leave the garden clean before you go.

  13. 13

    Damage, faults and accidents

If anything is damaged or breaks down, or if there is an accident, please let us know as soon as possible. A quick message helps us solve the problem and prevent further damage. If you can, send a short description and a photo too. Guests are financially responsible for damage caused by improper use of the house, negligence or breaking the house rules. The host accepts no liability for guests' belongings.

  14. 14

    Before you leave
